About me
Hi! I’m Sara, a Colombian filmmaker who’s been living in Germany since 2023. I’m an audiovisual communicator, in other words, I love telling stories. My main tool? My camera. But beyond creating beautiful visuals, my true passion is people and the stories behind each of them. I love being able to tell stories that have a social impact, stories that don’t just sell a product or service, but make people feel seen.
My work is driven by an observational approach, human-centered storytelling, intimate moments, and authenticity. My passions are nature and animals, so in each of my films, you’ll notice that a little piece of my essence is hidden there.
After experimenting with many video formats: music videos, series, short films, image films, commercials (and more) I realized that the real question isn’t what you tell, but how you tell it. In reality, the format is just a container, but what’s truly important is that whatever I show in my films evokes a feeling in the audience watching them, whether it’s joy, sadness, nostalgia, excitement, or anything else.
Because at the end of the day, people may not remember every frame of a film, but they remember how it made them feel.
